Travis "Tiny" Krum & Kaitie “Krash” Krum race in the CyberStock division at the Kalamazoo Speedway and will be exhibiting their race cars on Tuesday, August 3, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on the front lawn of the library. Bring the whole family to this free event! Stop by for an autograph and get your picture taken with the drivers! No registration necessary. Rain date Wednesday, August 4, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

We are thrilled to host Melvin Starr, local author of the Hugh de Singleton medieval surgeon mystery series.  Mel will take us through his trials as a rookie writer seeking an agent, and also discuss the medieval mysteries genre. Local paper and fiber artist, Barb Stewart, will show you how to make beads using scrapbook paper. Pam Francis will offer a condensed version of her day-long class on Home Herbals on Wednesday, October 27 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.  Learn to grow, harvest, prepare and use herbs.  Learn about teas, poultices and tinctures. This class is designed to be a fun learning experience about the awesome plants that are most widely available throughout the country to provide relief from wounds and complaints that are easily healed naturally.
