Get a Kalamazoo County ID at the library!

The Kalamazoo County ID Program Mobile Unit is coming to the Parchment Community Library on Tuesday, April 5th from 3:00 until 6:00.

The Kalamazoo County Identification Card is a photo identification (ID) available to Kalamazoo County residents age 11 and older.  The Kalamazoo County ID is intended to recognize all Kalamazoo County residents and enable them to connect with public safety, civic, and community services.

To receive an ID card, you must be able to show proof of residence in Kalamazoo County and provide proof of identity.  See eligibility criteria at www.kalcounty.com/clerk/id

A county ID will allow you to pick up prescriptions from the pharmacy, present additional identity credentials to the state, prove your identity when using credit cards, cash checks at participating financial institutions, and more.

The cost to receive an ID is $10.  Payment methods include cash, check, credit/debit card, money order, or use of scholarship.  Scholarships are available to all who ask for them.

If you have questions, visit the program's website or call the Kalamazoo County ID Program at 269-384-8307.
