Eclipse Craft Party

Drop in between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. to create indirect solar viewers to use during the annular eclipse on October 14, envelopes to hold your eclipse glasses, and eclipse-related crafts and/or artwork.  A limited number of boxes and cylindrical potato chip cans will be available for creating indirect solar viewers – if possible, please bring your own.  Shoe boxes or larger boxes with roughly the same proportions work well for making rectangular viewers.

This program is part of our eclipse series.  People who participate will receive a pair of eclipse glasses courtesy of the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation’s support of the Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries (SEAL) program.
