Grace Bliss Smith is a retired educator and author. She is a descendant of the Bliss and Buxton families of Cooper and Alamo Townships and Plainwell, Michigan.

Grace has pursued her strong interest in family history by researching, proving, and honoring her ancestors in over 70 hereditary societies. She is the descendant of eight Mayflower passengers.  She currently serves as the Governor of the Society of Mayflower Descendants in Michigan and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution National Vice Chair - Mayflower 400th - National Commemorative Events Committee.

This program is presented in collaboration with the Ransom District Library.
