Mystery Book Club

Our next Mystery Book Club meeting will be Monday, June 20 at 4:00 p.m. in the Library's Local History Room

Our May book will be The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino.  This is the third mystery in the Detective Galileo series.

Here are some questions to consider in preparation for our discussion:

   1) This book has been adapted into four different films in four different countries (Japan, South Korea, China, India).  What do you think attracts directors to the story?

   2) What stood out to you the most about this story?

   3) If you could hear this same story from another person’s point of view, who would you choose and why?

   4) Do you want to read more in this series?

Mystery Book Club meetings are held in person in the local history room.

Looking Ahead:

July 18: Saint Brigid's Bones by Philip Freeman.  This is the first mystery in the Sister Deidre series.

August 15: The Windsor Knot by SJ Bennett.  This is the first mystery in the Her Majesty the Queen Investigates series.
