Silent Book Club
The Parchment Community Library Silent Book Club is currently on hiatus.
It may return as an occasional special program during the next year.
Here’s how it works at the Parchment Community Library:Â
Bring your own book and read in companionable silence! Each session begins with 15 minutes of optional socializing, followed by 45 minutes of silent reading, and ending with 15 minutes of discussion. Audiobooks with headphones are welcome. Talking is optional – participate as much or as little as you’d like. Beverages and snacks will be provided, or you can bring your own.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in attending, please let us know
by emailing ref@parchmentlibrary.org or by talking to a staff member at the front desk.
