You can purchase a Parchment Library shopping bag for just $2.00 or our deluxe canvas book bag for $8.00 at every book sale, and they're always available at the library's front desk.
You can order a custom-made Book Letter at our book sales, or at the front desk of the library at any time. Every Day Book Sale
We also have a selection of used books for sale on our Friends of the Library shelves near the Circulation Desk!
Proceeds from the Friends of the Library booksales are used to support the library's collection and programs.
Never miss a book sale!
Enter your e-mail address on this form and we'll send you a reminder before every sale.
We also post our sales on Craigslist.com, in the Kalamazoo Gazette's Jottings (Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday prior to each sale),
and on BookSaleFinder.com.
Donate items for the book sales
We welcome donations of gently-used books, DVDs and CDs! Because of space limitations we cannot accept more than 2 paper grocery bags (or similar-size boxes) of donated items per person per day.
Because they don't sell at our book sales, we do not accept magazines, textbooks, manuals/leaflets/pamphlets, encyclopedias, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, or anything dirty, smelly or moldy.
